ABOUT BRITISH SHORTHAIR

British Shorthairs are a popular breed among cat lovers due to their calm and easygoing nature. They have a relatively quiet demeanor, and are very affectionate towards their owners, often becoming quite attached to them. They are also very adaptable and easily trained.

These cats are also great with other pets, including dogs, rabbits, and birds. However, they are not known for being acrobats and can be clumsy at times. British Shorthairs are not prone to any breed-specific health problems.

One of the most notable features of British Shorthairs is their sturdy, dense-coated appearance. They have large round eyes and are often described as resembling teddy bears. They are medium to large cats, with males averaging between nine and seventeen pounds, and females averaging between seven and twelve pounds. It's worth noting that British Shorthairs are a slow-maturing breed, and don't reach their full size until they are around three years old.
